We Welcome Our Guests

To Young Meadows, and invite you to visit our Welcome Center located in the hallway between the Sanctuary and Fellowship Hall. If you would like to know more about the life of Young Meadows Church, our hospitality volunteers will assist you with information and take you to worship services and Sunday school classes.

Choir Ensembles

Mission & Vision Trip

The Outreach Council is planning a mission trip in early September to Germany along with a vision trip to Greece. Cost will be about $2,000. Contact Jay Joye, 652-1316 or

City Bible Study

Meets Tuesdays through July 24, 9:30 a.m., at the church to study Jen Wilkin’s book, In His Image. Books are $8 per person. Also, CBS will be held Tuesdays, 7:00 p.m., at Alex Kocher’s home, 8230 Babsdale Chase. Contact Alex Kocher, 657-8767 or

Hope Heals Camps

Today we commission our volunteers for Hope Heals Camps, our disabilities ministry family retreats (originally established by Rooftop Friends) at Camps ASCCA and McDowell. More than 600 people are registered to attend. Remember our volunteers in prayer as they serve these special families. They are:

Mixtec Mission Project

Join us Friday, June 22, 6:00-8:00 p.m., as we reach out to the Mixtec population off Troy Highway. The evening will consist of building relationships with the Mixtec community through food, fellowship, and games. Contact Jay Joye, 652-1316 or

Officer Elections

Will be held Sunday, Aug. 5, in a Called Congregational Meeting. They will be ordained and installed Sept. 23. Nominees for the Class of 2021 have completed the required training and are set forward as follows:

Deacons: Hart Johnson, Michael Strowd

Trustees Election

In addition, Trustees will be elected to buy, sell and mortgage property for the church; acquire and convey title to such property, hold and defend title to the same; and manage any permanent special funds entrusted to them to further the purposes of the church, provided that such duties do not infringe upon the powers and duties of the Session or Diaconate. (BCO 25-7).
